AN INTRODUCTION TO
NUTRITION WITH IDA
American
children are among the better provided for youth in the world, so much so
that American teens face far more obesity problems than hunger issues.
Nevertheless, the percentages of children who do not consume
adequate amounts of certain key nutrients are shocking. The
consequences of such deficiencies are varied, numerous, and always detrimental
for one's health.
Fortunately, deficiencies are easily
corrected by changes in what one eats. On this site, Ida will provide information
regarding what the most common nutrient deficiencies are in American
youth, symptoms of these deficiencies, and what foods must be consumed to
improve one's diet.
